ANNUAL FUND & SPECIAL EVENTS MANAGER

Job Description and Qualifications:  The Annual Fund & Special Events Manager is responsible for the renewal and cultivation of donors under the $1000 level as well as the production of all fundraising and donor cultivation events for the organization.  Under the supervision of the Director of Development, this position will manage direct mail, donor stewardship, special events, giving analysis and will represent the agency at external functions as appropriate.  The Annual Fund & Special Events Manager will also be part of a development team implementing a three-year, 3M anniversary campaign. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability desired.

Experience and Education: 

 Ability to effectively and efficiently manage organizational annual fund and events operations. 

Proven track record in managing successful donor renewal, acquisition and stewardship programs and successfully managing effective event strategies.

  • Experience with personal solicitation, direct mail, e-philanthropy and donor stewardship.

  • Minimum of two years experience in annual fund development and events management.

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in related field.

Computer/Office Equipment Skills:  Proficient in PC computer environment (MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).  Familiarity with eTapestry donor software highly desirable.

Language Skills: Fluency in spoken and written English is required; bilingual fluency in English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Other skills/requirements:

  • Highly organized.  Excellent judgment.

  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills and ability to work with people of diverse social and cultural backgrounds.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 

CLINICAL CASE MANAGER

Job Description: Working from a strengths based perspective and harm reduction approach, the Clinical Case Manager will address urgent basic need and psychosocial issues facing homeless youth. Under the direct supervision of the Associated Executive Director, the Clinical Case Manager’s primary responsibilities include establishing open communication with clients, group facilitation, identifying potential case management clients, formulating individualized case plans designed to assist transition to self-sufficiency, and providing extensive crisis intervention services. The Clinical Case Manager will have extensive daily milieu interactions with clients and will assist multidisciplinary program staff in meeting client needs by supporting all direct service functions.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience: Master’s in Social Work required with a minimum of one year of professional experience working with homeless or high-risk youth.

Computer/Office Equipment Skills: Proficient in PC computer environment (MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).

Language Skills: Bilingual fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish is preferable.

Other skills/requirements:

Keen assessment and crisis intervention skills are critical.

Solid understanding of adolescent development and the impact of trauma and high-risk behavior.

Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills and ability to work with people of diverse social and cultural backgrounds.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Eligible for registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
